How hot can the Ender 3 Hotend get?
Hot end: Creality Ender-3 3d printer has a reliable hot-end which easily reach up to 280°C. However, as it is not an all-metal hot-end, so the temperature is limited to 240°C because of the use of PTFE tubing and the quality of the components it’s made of.
Why is my Ender 3 V2 not extruding?
The main reason was as @0scar suggested – the nozzle was too close to the build plate preventing the filament from exiting – and the back-pressure was causing the filament to jump back, giving the extruder a “shudder” as it slips on the filament. Lower your build plate as suggested by @0scar.

I have the bootloader installed (flashed) in my ender 3 pro and I have the printer connected to my macbook pro. Using Printrun for mac the nozzle temperature to 250 C and at about 190 C it failed. This is the error message in Printrun.
Why does my bed Ender say ” heating failed “?
It gives the “Heating failed, printer halted, please reset” error when I tried to heat the hot end and bed. Checked the resistance of the thermistors. Both the hot end and bed were about 100k. Reflashed Marlin with different thermistor settings.
