Final answer was getting the glass plate. If there is an issue with sticking I just put some glue stick on it, you do the hairspray thing too. Doesn’t take much and it is so much easier to remove the prints too. You can use a blade scraper or just wait a bit, once it cools they sometimes just pop off.
