What is party data model?
The Party data model defines who you have trading relationships with and how. For example, customer & supplier information along with their phone number and email. The following objects from the Party subject area are represented in Salesforce CDP.
What is a universal data model?
‘Universal Data Model’ (UDM) is a package that provides uniform access to models using a meta-programmable interface. UDM uses a metamodel in the style of (GME) UML class diagrams as the metamodel for data. This UDM-metamodel could be automatically generated from a GME metamodel.

United Data Management (UDM) describes the process of consolidating disparate data sources to create a single data narrative within a data warehouse. Siloed data obfuscates the bigger data picture and prevents data from being effective and actionable.

A common data model contains a uniform set of metadata, allowing data and its meaning to be shared across applications. In addition to the uniform metadata, a common data model includes a set of standardized, extensible data schemas that include items such as entities, attributes, semantic metadata, and relationships.

We also need to store the different types of roles a person can have inside a company. For example, a person can be Employee at Google, but at the same time occupies a Head of Development position. I am using this schema as an example, but i need to admit that i don’t fully understand it.
