How do you stack headers?
Place the stacking headers into the board so that the long pins poke through the two rows of breakout pads. Make sure the long pins are sticking out the bottom. To make it easier to keep these in place, you can use some tape to hold down the two header pieces. Tacky clay also works, whatever you’ve got handy!
What is Arduino stackable header?
These headers are made to work with the Arduino Main Board, Arduino Pro, and the Arduino Mega. They are the perfect height for clearing the USB-B connector and great for stacking multiple shields. This kit includes 4 headers (2 8-pin and 2 6-pin), enough to connect a shield to an Arduino Main Board.

Many Arduino shields are stackable. You can connect many shields together to create a “Big Mac” of Arduino modules. You could, for example, combine an Arduino Uno with a Voice Box Shield, and a WiFly Shield to create a WiFi Talking Stephen Hawking(TM).

What do you need to know about stacking Shields?
When stacking shields it’s important to make sure they don’t use overlapping pins. Asynchronous serial communication concepts: packets, signal levels, baud rates, UARTs and more! SPI is commonly used to connect microcontrollers to peripherals such as sensors, shift registers, and SD cards.
Can you add your name to your face shield?
Yes, you can add your name to your shield (and we encourage you to do so!). Your name can be an additional identifier, in addition to the specific face shield number you were assigned.
Where do I leave my face shield at work?
If your unit, or department, has a dedicated space to store your face shield you are welcome to leave it at work. If there is not a space to store your shield onsite, we recommend leaving it in a plastic bag in your car or at home.
