Follow these steps to restore GRUB when after installing EasyBCD:
- Launch the program and select ADD NEW ENTRY from the EasyBCD Toolbox.
- Select the ‘Linux/BSD’ from the operating systems column.
- Choose GRUB (Legacy) under type and Click on the ADD ENTRY icon.
- Choose YES to the restart prompt.

Can you install elementary OS with Windows 10?
I’ve tried to install elementary OS alongside Windows 10 in a UEFI machine. I first did it with Secure Boot enabled, using the “something more” option. I created the boot, root and swap partitions as I always do.
I shrunk Windows partition, freed 100 Gb, installed Ubuntu into it, installed GRUB into into MBS of the first drive and after reboot I got Windows and with no any option to select. Even in BIOS in boot priority config I see that the main drive entitled as Windows.

But the strange thing is, when the installation ended and the machine was rebooted, Grub did not showed up and Windows was loaded instead. Then I retried disabling Secure Boot, and the same thing happened, so I loaded the live CD and reinstalled and updated grub from a chrooted partition as seen here: same result.
