Where can I find the documentation for QGIS?
QGIS has a lot of documentation. All documentation is in English but some documents such as the user guide are also available in other languages. You will find documentation for every QGIS long term release on the respective documentation website. Get involved and help us write a better documentation.
How does QGIS allow you to reproject data on the fly?
QGIS allows you to reproject data “on the fly”. What this means is that even if the data itself is in another CRS, QGIS can project it as if it were in a CRS of your choice. To enable “on the fly” projection, click on the CRS Status button in the Status Bar along the bottom of the QGIS window:
Why does QGIS not know where Cape Town is?
