Are there thousands of separators in ArcGIS Pro?
I am creating a Map Series in ArcGIS Pro, and have a number of dynamic text elements populated by numeric fields in my map series layer. The default for numeric values appears to be to not use thousands separators, however I would like to see them, at least in my dynamic text elements.
How do you remove a layer in ArcGIS?
To remove a layer, browse to the feature layer, click More Options , and click Remove. To change the order of a layer in the map, browse to the feature layer, click More Options , and click Move up or Move down. You can also click and drag the layer to reorder it.
How to merge two count fields in ArcGIS?
The two COUNT fields will be merged by default because they have a matching field name. Using Rename, the name of the field in the merge layer can be changed to MERGE_COUNT to keep the two fields separate in the result layer. The field will be removed from the output.
Is there a way to organize layers in ArcGIS?
If you do not have privileges to create content, you can still organize layers to explore data by clicking Modify Map. Verify that you are signed in and have privileges to create content. Open Map Viewer, click Details, and click Contents.
How to change default or bulk to show thousands separators?
The default for numeric values appears to be to not use thousands separators, however I would like to see them, at least in my dynamic text elements. Now I know I can change the Number Format from the attribute table, by right-clicking a field and then clicking the ellipsis next to “Numeric”, and checking on Show thousands separators
How to change number format in ArcGIS Pro?
After changing the number format, switch the labeling language from Arcade to one of the other options such as Python, JScript, or VBScript. Either of these methods can be used in ArcGIS Pro.
Why are there no separators on the labels?
When labeled, there are no thousands separators by default. Note : The label now displays the thousands separators. See the Related Information section for more information on Arcade functions. Alternatively, enable Show thousands separators in the attribute table by changing the Number Format from the Fields View.
