Why does Cycles render only a black screen Blender?
Maybe your scene is a fringe-case, where the preview can just be rendered, but the final output uses too mach video-ram. It gets stuck at bvh 0%, duplicate 0% or well, the bvh increases with like 1% every five minutes (and no it is not a big file, its only a dice made from the original cube)
Are there any problems with rendering in Blender?
There are of course other potential problems while rendering, for instance too few light bounces, resulting in black glass or light setups that result in enormous quantities of fireflies. But those are render engine specific, so I left them out of this list. Render safe and thanks for your time.
Why is my rendering screen turning grey even when making a full Render?
I am having some issues when rendering an image, my rendering screen is turning into grey even when making a full render. What am I doing wrong? You have the focus of the camera set to 0 and are using a lens aperture of 1.0. Basically your scene is so out of focus that you only see gray.
Why is an object missing in the final render?
If an object is missing in your final render there are primarily two reasons. The first one is that the object could have been disabled for rendering. The second option is that a particle system is attached to the object and that it is set to not render the emitter.
What to do if you accidentally set an object as a camera?
If you accidentally set an object as camera (CtrlNumpad 0 will do that) You have two options to reset the camera back to the “active camera”. In properties windows/scene select your camera as “camera”. Or on the 3D layout select the camera and press CtrlNumpad 0 (or use the menu: View->Cameras->Select_Active_Object_as_Camera)
What should I do if my Blender render is blank?
To fix include the layer where the objects are as part of the render layers. An object in front of the camera might be restricted from viewport display, making the issue not apparent in the viewport or render preview.
How to make a transparent background in cycles?
Open Properties>Render>Shading and switch the Alpha dropdown box from Sky to Transparent. Switch back to Cycles Render, make sure Film>Transparent is enabled, and go for it. Why? Dunno, it just works for me when Cycles needs to render a transparent BG.
Is there a render that goes all black?
Renders fine in the viewport, it also completes the render, shows it finished for a second and then goes all black. My scene is very high poly. Any help would be much appreciated.

Why does VSE take precedence over scene rendering?
The VSE takes precedence over scene rendering. To fix clear the strips on the VSE or disable the Sequencer box. To fix include the layer where the objects are as part of the render layers.
Why is the diffuse texture always black in Blender?
I already try for hours to bake a diffuse map from multiple textures, but the result is always black. I want to bake it, I already managed it earlier without any problems to bake the diffuse texture, but now suddenly the only result I get is black. Here is my node setup for the material which I need to bake.
What happens if backface culling is enabled in render?
If Backface Culling is enabled in the viewport surfaces might not block view in the viewport but still show in render. The rendered image is that of the active camera’s view.
