How do I download GPS data?
Make sure any needed GPS device drivers are installed on your computer.
- Open Google Earth.
- Turn off the GPS device and connect it to your computer.
- Turn on the GPS device.
- Click Tools. GPS. The “GPS Import” window opens.
- Choose how you want the data displayed.
- Click Import.
Does Garmin use GPX or KML files?

Is GPX or KML better?
