A lot of things can cause light leaks, but the most common perpetrators are either (1) accidentally (or sometimes purposefully if you’re me) opening the back of the camera when film is loaded, or (2) bad/missing light seals. Unless of course you’re trying to add light leaks.

Dismantle the display and apply electrical tape around the edges of the LCD. Mildly loosen the screws at the rear of the display. Using a microfiber cloth softly rub the area where the backlight bleeding is prominent. Reduce the screen brightness until backlight bleeding is unnoticeable.
