Why do Colours look different in InDesign?
The reason is that InDesign knows what the colors are supposed to look like in the tagged image (the one with the color profile in it), but it has no clue what the colors look like in the one with no profile. You almost certainly want your InDesign documents to have a default RGB profile of sRGB.
What is RGB vs CMYK?
RGB is an additive color model, while CMYK is subtractive. RGB uses white as a combination of all primary colors and black as the absence of light. CMYK, on the other hand, uses white as the natural color of the print background and black as a combination of colored inks.
