What is dotted writing?
Dot grid notebooks and dotted journals are not any different to write in than lined or grid paper. You’ll notice, with a bit of practice, that your writing stays lined up just as if you are writing on lined or gridded paper without the obtrusive lines/grids. Those tiny dots tend to fade into the background!
How do you insert dots in Word?
If you prefer, you can follow these steps:
- Choose Symbol from the Insert menu. Word displays the Insert Symbol dialog box.
- Make sure that (normal text) is selected in the Font drop-down list. (See Figure 1.)
- In the table of symbols, select the bullet character.
- Click on Insert.
- Click on Close.
What is dotted paper used for?
A dotted notebook is the right choice for keeping your handwriting neat or creating a customized planner – as it’s easier to draw straight lines and create separations in the pages as you please. And it gives you more freedom than a lined notebook because the dots are not as obtrusive, so you can be more creative.
How do you make a dotted line in Google Docs?
It’s easy.
- Open a Google Docs file or create a new one.
- Type a list of items. Press ENTER after each item.
- Select the list.
- Click Bulleted list.
- Keep the list selected. From the Format menu, select Bullets & numbering.
- Click List options. Click More bullets.
- Click on a symbol to add it as a bullet. Click Close (X).
Can you add fonts to Google Docs?
Click the Font drop-down menu (it probably says “Arial” on your document, as that’s the default for Google Docs) on the Google Docs toolbar. Then click More fonts to open the window shown directly below. From there, you can select a full collection of Google fonts to add to the Docs Font drop-down menu.
What is 0 with a dot in the middle?
With the “Andale Mono Font”, you get a 0 (Zero) with a dot in the middle, to indicate it is a Zero and not a Capital Letter O. Sometimes, the Zero is also shown with a black slash across it to indicate it is a Zero.
