What to do when UV does not appear in Blender?
Go to object dat properties panel, open the uv maps section and delete the current uv map. Then just create a new one. That fixed it for me . I had the same problem and nothing and no advice online helped, what I did was save the file I was working on , opened a new blender, append my job from previous and all worked again !
Why does my PNG have a black background?
The pupil png has a Transparent background but that background shows up as Black in Unity. Googling says to fix it by choosing ‘Transparent’ shader but all the ones I try end up cutting out the Eye mesh beneath it. Any help appreciated.

Problem is SOLVED – It is as simple as making the background color of the Texture png be the color you want the material’s ‘background color’ to be. In my case: Instead of (a) having a transparent Pupil png over an Eye and hoping the Eye behind would remain white, you are supposed to (b) simply make the Edges of the pupil png white.

How can I change the color of my texture?
In the UV/Image editor I press the +new button and made my texture white to test to see if it would change its color at least. Well it stayed black (default color for textures). I continued on to bake it, and it baked, but it still remained black. The texture in UV/Image editor changed though. The 3D view doesn’t change
How can I paint Under my UV layer?
Select your UV layer and set it to multiply(if your UVs are black on white) or screen(if they’re white on black). This allows you to paint beneath your UV’s. (Also a good workflow for coloring lineart). As you work you can adjust the opacity of your UVs or hide them completely with the controls the Layers toolbox.
Why is the masking not visible in Blender?
I know the masking still works because the area that I have masked protected it from being manipulated by the sculpting brush, but I just cannot see the actual mask. Anybody had this issue?
Is the overlays mask disabled in Blender 2.8?
Check overlays mask or see if overlays is completely turned off. Unfortunately, check overlays didn’t work, check attached pic: You have overlays disabled. Oops, haha, got it. Thanks again for your time.
