Is it possible to export multiple textures in Blender?

Is it possible to export multiple textures in Blender?

Cycles uses a node based material system that is not compatible with most export options. To have a material that can be exported use the blender internal material and texture settings. But you can’t export multi-texture materials like Blender internal does. Thanks for contributing an answer to Stack Overflow!

What happens when exporting OBJ in Blender 2.79?

In Blender 2.79, I was able to export an obj and have the mtl file carry over the material values including color. As of Blender 2.8, exporting a mesh with a red material drops the color and imports as white. This is not acceptable in my opinion. Why does Blender not select a duplicate sword?

For some reason I can’t seem to select a sword that I duplicated from a previous one. The previous sword is still selectable but the duplicated one is not. Why does my Blender not select the object I want?

To fix it just hit the number in order of the Collection you are currently working with and they will be operable again. If you have backface culling checked off in the object’s Shading menu, you may need to flip the normals.

Do you merge meshes before exporting to Unreal?

Merge the meshes into one single piece before export. Makes it easier to handle when in UE4. You can create a second UV map for lightmapping, or have UE4 generate the lightmap UVs for you. Make sure you have duplicates of the original mesh components so that you can make changes later.
