Does Eevee look better than Cycles?

Quality: Due to a key difference between the two renderers, Eevee manages to render your scenes with good quality. That said, it’s not always better than Cycles, especially for photo-realistic renders.

How do you make something see through in blender?

In CYCLES select the mesh you want to be transparent. Go to the Object header and check the Transparency box. Go to the Material header, add a new material and decrease the Alpha value in the Settings panel as pictured below. You may also change the color of transparency.

How is Eevee not a raytracer like cycles?

Eevee isn’t a raytracer like Cycles – lights, reflections, shadows, etc. are effectively ‘faked’ in order to sacrifice quality for speed. This means that you can get lightening fast renders but does require some ‘pre-setup’ in order to get the desired results – by way of light probes.

Why are my lights not working in Eevee?

Clicking this tells Eevee to analyse the indirect lighting (Irradiance Volumes and other light probes) which it can then use to render the scene. If you want to properly show the lighting using Eevee make sure to turn on Ambient Occlusion, Bloom, and Screen Space Reflections in the Renter Properties. Then you don’t need to bake the lights.

Why does my object not show up in cycles?

Save your data to .blend before rendering with Cycles/Eevee (Blender 2.8)

Why is there no blend mode on Eevee?

All the tutorials say got to Material > Otions > Blend mode. And switch the Material’s Blend mode to something other than Opaque. My problem is that my material options look nothing like any of the tutorials suggest, and I get no Blend option to get my alphas working.
