How do you extrude an axis?
To perform a quick extrusion:
- Select your object and tab into Edit mode.
- Select the vertices, edges, or faces you want to extrude.
- Ctrl+left-click where you’d like the extrusion to end. Blender automatically decides what kind of extrusion you want and extrudes your selection right where you’d like.

Which is the correct direction to extrude an object?
Extrudes selected objects along the positive or negative Z axis. The direction is based on the UCS that was current when the object was created, or (for multiple selections) on the original UCS of the most recently created object.
What should be the taper angle of extrude?
Specifying large angle may cause faces or loop of the object to meet at a point before reaching extrude height so try to add appropriate value to the taper angle of extrusion. In the image below the taper angle of 10 degrees is applied to the pentagon shape.
What kind of path can you make with extrude?
