Should stories span sprints?
While epics can span multiple sprints, the stories should be done within the current sprint. Stories should be prioritized and created based on feedback from stakeholders. The Product Owner should prioritize as needed and guide the team. Each story can have multiple tasks that break the story down further.
How do I move stories to next on sprint?
Navigate to ‘Active Sprints’ and click ‘Complete Sprint’. Select ‘Move issues to the backlog’. Drag the issue into the next Sprint.
How many story points is a 2 week Sprint?
You should be able to estimate about as many story points your team can manage during a two-week sprint, or whatever timeframe you’re working to. Because the newly formed User Story has no business value, the Product Owner cannot prioritise it. Also, consider whether a temporary blip in the team’s velocity is that big an issue.
