How do you stretch a keyframe?
Here’s how it’s done:
- Select Keyframes. Select a keyframe sequence by making a box around your desired keyframes.
- Hold Down the Option/Alt Key. Hold down the option key on Mac or Alt key on a PC.
- Drag the keyframes to desired length. Simply drag the first or last keyframe to your desired length.
What is keyframe scale?
Keyframes are markers in time that allow you to tell After Effects where you want to change the value for a layer or effect property such as position, opacity, scale, rotation, amount, particle count, color, etc. By setting these ‘markers’ and changing the values you create animation.

The timeline can contain any number of keyframe sequences. To copy or paste a frame or frame sequence, do one of the following: Select the frame or sequence and select Edit > Timeline > Copy Frames. Select the frame or sequence that you want to replace, and select Edit > Timeline > Paste Frames.
Can you copy keyframes from one property to another?
You can copy keyframes between layers for the same property (such as Position) or between different properties that use the same type of data (such as between Position and Anchor Point).
