When should a scrum meeting be scheduled?
In Scrum, on each day of a sprint, the team holds a daily scrum meeting called the “daily scrum.” Meetings are typically held in the same location and at the same time each day. Ideally, a daily scrum meeting is held in the morning, as it helps set the context for the coming day’s work.

When do the 2 week sprint meetings start?
We are not constantly changing or extending the meetings on a regular basis. As you can see, my two week sprints start on a Monday afternoon, and finish on a Monday morning two weeks later (so they span 3 separate calendar weeks). This is deliberate and I’ll go into details why we’ve done this later.
Can a sprint be moved to a different day?
If sprint planning falls on a holiday, we may be tempted to move the meeting to the next day and still have a 10-day-long sprint. This is a mistake. That way, we end up meeting on a different day, which affects our routines and project flow negatives. That’s why it’s best to keep organizing events on the same days. The best solution?
How long should a sprint planning session be?
Sprint Planning is time-boxed to a maximum of eight hours for a one-month Sprint. For shorter Sprints, the event is usually shorter. In my opinion, a 6-hour Sprint Planning session for a 2-week sprint is not in violation of the Scrum Guide, or any of its recommendations.
When is the best time to plan a sprint?
The best day for scheduling the Sprint Planning meeting is Wednesday morning. That’s when we sit together with the team to plan the scope of work for the next three weeks. Since then, we meet every week on Wednesday for backlog grooming sessions.
