- In the lower-right corner of your screen, click the WiFi icon.
- Click Network Settings > Wi-Fi > Hidden Network > Connect.
- Enter the SSID (network name).
- Click Next.
- Enter the network security key (password).
- Click Next. Your computer connects to the network.
If you don’t have the network name (SSID), you can use the BSSID (Basic Service Set Identifier, the access point’s MAC address), which looks something like 02:00:01:02:03:04 and can usually be found on the underside of the access point. You should also check the security settings for the wireless access point.

- Type the network name into the Enter the SSID box.
- Choose the security setting.
- Type the password.
- Manually connect to the hidden SSID network.
- Go to Network and Sharing Center > select the name of your hidden Wi-Fi connection.
- On the Wi-Fi Status box > click on Wireless Properties.
- Check the box Connect even if the network is not broadcasting its name.

- Connect your computer to the router’s Wi-Fi network (or connect the computer to the router’s LAN port using an Ethernet cable). Open your Internet browser.
- Choose Advanced > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Security Settings. Click next to the SSID.
- Check the Hide Wi-Fi and then click Save.
