What is an opportunity History Report Salesforce?
Opportunity History and Opportunity Trends reports track historical information of the Opportunity Records. The History Report of any Object has the ability to track the changes that occurred within the records on the specific fields where Field History Tracking is enabled.
How do I create a field history report in Salesforce?

Please contact your AE or Cloud Success Manager to enable Opportunity Trending pilot.It is a new report type that would allow you to choose both opportunity fields and opportunity history fields. I would recommend enabling it on sandbox first if possible.
Can a field rep filter the opportunity history report?
Field reps, though, own the opportunities. For compensation purposes, we want to be able to track pipeline milestones for opportunities created by the inside sales reps. The Opportunity History report, though, does not allow filtering on the Created By field, which makes this difficult to do.
