The New Notes are being handled as Files objects and therefore from a reporting stand point, it looks like it lacks in providing the association between a note and an object. It is not possible to report on Notes. There is an Idea, Reporting on Notes & Attachments that requests this feature.

Serious gap in capability, need to be able to run reports on leads/opps/accts that do/do not have attachments loaded. Would really be nice to at least query file titles and notes.
