Why is my forgot password link not expiring?
This isn’t an issue when an admin manually resets a password, because that link doesn’t expire. Please either find a solution to the auto-expiring links in certain email clients, or allow Admins to tell the system how many times a “Forgot Password” link can be accessed before expiring it.

When does an admin send you a password reset link?
The password reset link you are being sent expires as soon as the link is visited. Having an admin send you a password reset link will most likely work as it uses a different format for the token and the link does not expire until the password is actually reset or 24 hours, whichever comes first.
