What are bounced subscribers?
Bounced subscribers indicate that emails that could not be delivered successfully to your recipients (whether through an incentive email, broadcast, or sequence).
What is a bounced contact?
Paul August 04, 2021 14:13. A bounce happens when our email servers send an email to a recipient’s email provider’s server (such as AOL, Yahoo, etc), and that server sends back a message saying that the email was not delivered.
How do you let a sender know they are blocked?
Select Compose (the plus sign icon located in the upper-left corner). In the New Message window, type a general message that lets the sender know that you’ve blocked them.
What happens if you bounce email on Marketing Cloud?
If the Subscriber status is ‘Bounced’, then next email message will be tried (if it is the first or second email). If the bounce happens on 3rd email also, then it is set to ‘Undelivered’. Once set to Undelivered, Marketing Cloud will never send any more emails to the email address.

How to check subscriber status in Marketing Cloud?
If you unsubscribe a subscriber in the All Subscribers list at the Business Unit Level via an Automation Studio import activity, the subscriber is not unsubscribed in the All Subscriber list at the Enterprise Level. The subscriber status in Marketing Cloud is indicated by the shirt colour of the icon to the left of the subscriber’s email address.
