Does Salesforce work on Microsoft edge?
Salesforce supports the most current stable version of Microsoft Edge. Microsoft Edge is updated through Windows updates, and cannot be updated manually through browser settings.

Can you use Lightning for Outlook in Internet Explorer?
If you’d like to add to this conversation, please post a new idea. Currently the Lightning for Outlook add-in will open Internet Explorer instead of the default browser set on the machine (Windows & Outlook 2013 & 2016) when you click on a link in the plugin that needs the web. Why is lightning experience not available in IE 11?
In your IE options, under Tools> Internet Options > Advanced down near the bottom make sure that none of the SSL boxes are checked. Try that first, and if that doesn’t do it, check to see if TLS 1.0 is checked or not checked. If it isn’t checked, try checking it. TLS 1.0 support is going away at the end of Q1 2016, but it is worth trying this.
