Can you take proctored test on iPad?
You will need to use a laptop or desktop computer which meets the technical requirements. Mobile devices, tablets, iPads and phones are not supported at the moment.
Can you take proctored exam on tablet?
You can only use a desktop or laptop computer with a working webcam & microphone; you cannot use mobile devices (tablets or smart phones) for these proctored exams. You also need to download a Chrome browser extension before your test.
Can I use Proctorio without a webcam?
Additionally, instructors have the option to still use Proctorio but without webcam dependent settings. These include browser lockdown, screen recording, and signature verification. Setting up an exam with these options is covered within the Proctorio workshop.
Does LockDown Browser work with iPad?
A version of the Respondus LockDown Browser is available for the iPad. An instructor that requires the LockDown Browser for a quiz can choose to allow students to take it on an iPad. The Respondus LockDown Browser app for the iPad can be downloaded here from Apple iTunes.
How are proctored exams monitored?
While you take the exam, the proctoring software monitors your computer, including any software that is running, and streams the exam data to the proctoring software via the cloud. The software also records video and audio from your webcam.
Can I eat during a proctored exam?
ProctorU allows drinks while testing. However, food is generally not permitted as it may cause unnecessary distractions and noise during the exam.
Does Proctorio detect eye movement?
Proctorio is VPAT certified, 508 compliant, and fully accessible to those with disabilities. However, the software captures eye, head, and mouth movements, talking to self, pacing, and may flag the use of a screen reader or other devices which may be reported as “suspicious”.
