Whenever I try to add a new keyframe I get error messages. I tried all tipps, I found in the net, but nothing helps. I checked the Scene Properties, but there is no keying set defined. I checked also the Active Keying Set properties in the Timeline. There was also nothing specified.

I however have no idea how this was enabled, and at this point of time I also don’t know the goal of this keying. After removal, the I key worked again.

That’s why when you press I no keyframes are being added. To change that, you need to get rid of the Keying Set by clicking on x sign or setting something meaningful, like LokRotScale for example. Thanks for contributing an answer to Blender Stack Exchange!

You probably accidentally told Blender to use a keying set. Look on your timeline view. There’s a dropdown labelled “Keying”. Click on it. Is there something in the “Active Keying Set” field? Then click the X next to that field.
