Can Bitwarden access my passwords?
Q: Can Bitwarden see my passwords? A: No. Your data is fully encrypted and/or hashed before ever leaving your local device, so no one from the Bitwarden team can ever see, read, or reverse engineer to get to your real data. Bitwarden servers only store encrypted and hashed data.

Bitwarden is a perfectly secure password manager. The service uses an encrypted vault (that uses AES-256 encryption) to store all your passwords, protected by a single long master password. Bitwarden also uses zero-knowledge architecture.

Where do I find exposed passwords in Bitwarden?
Select a report from the Reports section of the left menu. The Exposed Passwords Report identifies passwords that have been uncovered in known data breaches that were released publicly or sold on the dark web by hackers.
