- Navigate to the Site Pages library using steps from above (Gear Icon > Site Contents, then click on Site Pages library)
- Click the check box next to the page you want to restrict from editing, then click on little “i” in a circle, then Manage access.

- 1 Open the SharePoint site.
- 2 Click on Site Actions (gear icon) and then select Site Settings.
- 3 Under the Users and Permissions category, click Site Permissions.
- 4 Select the check box next to the group whose permission you wish to modify.
- 5 Go to the Permissions tab and click Edit User Permissions.
What are the responsibilities of the site owner?
The site owner is responsible for controlling the overall SharePoint site. They will be responsible to design the SharePoint site, they can change the Site title, site theme, etc. SharePoint Online site owners are responsible for managing permissions for the entire site.
Can members edit a SharePoint site?
Members added to the Microsoft 365 group are added to the SharePoint Site members permission group by default and can edit the site. They also have full access to the Microsoft 365 group resources such as group conversations, calendar, etc.
What is difference between edit and delete?
Edit Items – Edit items in lists, edit documents in document libraries, and customize Web Part Pages in document libraries. Delete Items – Delete items from a list and documents from a document library. Delete Versions – Delete past versions of a list item or document.
Can a site admin change the location of a network file?
Regardless of WP version, these locations cannot be changed by site admins. Only the network admin can make changes on the site settings page. It is not recommended that you change these without understanding how both the ms-files.php works in conjunction with your .htaccess, as it can easily become non-functional.
How to use the network admin sites screen?
Use the Network Admin Sites Screen to review and manage the various sites that are part of your network. These sites will be either subdirectory or subdomain sites as determined by how the network was configured. From this screen you can access Info, Users, Themes, and Settings for each site in your Network.
Can a sysadmin edit the settings of a network adapter?
At this point you need to figure which is the cause, before you end up down a deep rabbit hole in the wrong area. As a test, create a new group with access to something specific but that has nothing to do with network adapters. Then assign a user to it. Logout and log back in to see if they have access to the new group.
Can a site administrator allocate a different default role?
To allocate a different default role for users on individual sites, you must use a plugin. The capabilities of the site administrator role are also reduced in a WordPress Network. Site admins cannot install new themes or plugins and cannot edit the profiles of users on their site.
