How to remove doubled faces that allready have the same?

I imported a model from another program and i now have a mesh with faces that share the same vertices. remove doubles doesn’t work because there are no vertices on top of eachother. removing/selecting the “identical” faces by hand isn’t an option because there are more then a couple of thousand of them, is there an automated script for this?

Is there way to get Normals which face both directions, rather than only one?

Really quick question here: Is there a way to get normals which face both directions, rather than only one?… Blender Artists is an online creative forum that is dedicated to the growth and education of the 3D software Blender. I’m not precisely sure if this would be the forum to ask this in, so If this question is misplaced let me know.

Is there an easy way to remove overlapping faces?

Select one face, and switch to vertex select mode. Now the face you selected will still be selected, but you will also see the vertices which define it’s bounds. Press the H key to hide those vertices, and the face to selected and all faces containing any of the vertices of the edge its face will be hidden.

Is it possible to reverse the direction of normals?

This will reverse the normals direction of all selected faces. Note that this allows you to precisely control the direction ( not the orientation, which is always perpendicular to the face) of your normals, as only the selected faces are flipped.

What kind of facial features did diprosopus have?

She was one of the very few infants with diprosopus to survive well past birth, and may have been the only known living individual with complete facial duplication. Her facial features included two pairs of eyes, two noses, and two mouths (but only one pair of ears).

Which is more flexible facial recognition or lookalike software?

“It depends whether we mean ‘lookalike to a human’ or ‘lookalike to facial recognition software’,” says David Aldous, a statistician at U.C. Berkeley. By looking at the overall arrangement of features rather than the details, our facial recognition is more flexible to changes like a new haircut (Credit: Francois Brunelle)
