- Browse to your app catalog. (In the SharePoint admin center, select apps in the left pane and then click the App Catalog link.)
- Click Settings. > Site settings > Site Collection Administration > Manage App Requests.
- In the left nav, select App Requests.
- Click the title of each pending request to review it.
If a SharePoint environment has been configured to prevent users from getting apps from the SharePoint Store, users can still browse for and request apps. These requests are added to the App Requests list in the App Catalog.
How to grant unique permissions to a SharePoint subsite?
1. Select the subsite in your browser. 2. Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner and then click on Site settings. 3. Select Site permissions. 4. If the page says “This Web site interits permissions from its parent”, then click the Stop Inheriting Permissions button.
How to grant access using SharePoint App-only?
Navigate to a site in your tenant (e.g. https://contoso.sharepoint.com) and then call the appregnew.aspx page (e.g. https://contoso.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/appregnew.aspx ). In this page click on the Generate button to generate a client id and client secret and fill the remaining information like shown in the screen-shot below.
When you create a subsite on a SharePoint site, many times you want to allow only certain people to have access to that subsite. You can set those permissions so that they are unique to that subsite. 1. Select the subsite in your browser.
Can a tenant grant access to an app?
Below steps show how to setup an app principal with tenant full control permissions, but obviously you could also grant just read permissions using this approach. Azure Access Control (ACS), a service of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), has been retired on November 7, 2018.
