Why is my webpart unable to create or update?
Unable to create or update WebPart. In Microsoft 365, this is mainly caused by the farm setting “Custom Script” being deactivated. There is a setting called Custom Script in Microsoft 365 which allows the administrator to choose whether custom scripts are enabled or disabled on a site.
Can you add a web part in SharePoint?
You may now be able to ‘Add a Web Part’. If so, the last Web Part folder on the left will be ‘Closed Web Parts’ which I beleive you can put back (Open) the closed Web Part. I have see this issue occur when someone else has the current page open in edit mode.
Can you add a web part in Google Chrome?
When I use Google Chrome, it is able to open up EDIT MODE, and it was also able to open up the Add Web Part popup, but when you actually select a web part and press ADD…nothing gets added to the main page. The extra strange thing is from Google Chrome, I am able to delete and modify existing webparts.

When deploying Web Part on the server i get the following error: Error occurred in deployment step ‘Activate Features’: Feature with Id ‘8a442317-1158-4994-b265-26499b2def57’ is not installed in this farm, and cannot be added to this scope. Help.!! Thanks in advance.:)

“Error occurred in deployment step ‘Activate Features’: Feature with Id XXXXXXX’ is not installed in this farm, and cannot be added to this scope”.
