What is a source parameter?
The source depth, time function, fault orientation, and seismic moment are known as the seismic source parameters. The goal of waveform modeling is to recover the source parameters by “fitting” the observed waveforms with synthetics. The strongest trade-off is between source depth and source time function duration.

URL parameter is a way to pass information about a click through its URL. You can insert URL parameters into your URLs so that your URLs track information about a click. URL parameters are made of a key and a value separated by an equals sign (=) and joined by an ampersand (&).

The trick for this is to simply encode the ampersand (&) character so that it won’t be treated as the start of a new Query String parameter, but instead just a part of the Source parameter. The ASCII value for the ampersand is 26 in hex, so you encode it as %26 in the URL:
