Is Microsoft 365 being discontinued?
Office 365, available through a Microsoft 365 subscription, is always kept up-to-date with the latest software. Office 2019 for both Windows will get security updates until October 14, 2025. The mainstream support end date is October 10, 2023, while the extended support end date is October 14, 2025.
Is Microsoft Access no longer supported?
How long will Microsoft Access be supported? The current version of Microsoft Access, Version 2019 goes end of life in 2025, and our expectation is that the next version will be supported until at least 2028.

Why are documents not opening in SharePoint library?
If you use these programs, update them to 2013 or 2016. If you no longer use them, uninstall them. If the file opened previously, but now doesn’t, there could be a problem with a corrupt file, or the format is not compatible with any of your apps. Make sure when you save a file, you try to open it to make sure it was saved correctly.
