Where do my renders go?
- Check the Properties Editor > Render tab > Output rollout. Click there to open file browser which should be opened in the directory which contains that file.
- The default path should be the OS’ temp path or /tmp .
Where does Blender save to?
blend file, which is great for recovering your last blender session. The default location for temporary files is /tmp/ on Linux and Mac OS X. On Windows, it’s your user’s temporary folder in C:Users AppDataLocalTemp .
Where are Blender animation renders saved?
Once the animation is rendered, you can close the preview window to go back to the Blender desktop. To see your animation, click the Render menu and select View Animation. I’m having an issue with one object not showing up in both my live viewer and the renders. I’ve determined this is most likely an Octane issue because there’s nothing in the scene that would be causing this. No red dots or anything.

What to do when objects are not rendered in Blender?
If there are objects that you have that you do not want rendered you can click the camera button next to the objects name in the outliner which is usually the top right window. This toggles camera visibility.
