Does OneDrive automatically update files?

OneDrive will keep an older version of your files for 30 days. Expanded version history support has started rolling out and will be available to everyone this summer.
Why are my files not syncing in OneDrive?
If your OneDrive is not syncing, then visit its Settings and click on the “Office” tab. From here, you need to un-check the option of “Use Office to sync Office files that I open” and save your selection by clicking the “Ok” button. Restart the drive again to fix this issue.
How can I change where my files are saved on OneDrive?
If you want to change where your files are saved by default, use the OneDrive app settings below. Shared OneDrive files If a user shared OneDrive files with others, the links will no longer work after a UPN change. The user will need to re-share the files.
What happens when I Change my OneDrive url?
Any automated workflows that were created with Power Automate or SharePoint 2013 workflows and refer to a OneDrive URL will not work after a UPN change. Similarly, any SharePoint apps (including Power Apps) that reference a OneDrive URL will need to be updated after a UPN change.
