Which formula is a complex formula?
A complex formula has more than one mathematical operator, such as 5+2*8. When there is more than one operation in a formula, the order of operations tells your spreadsheet which operation to calculate first. In order to use complex formulas, you will need to understand the order of operations.
Is D8 E8 * 0.5 is a complex formula?

What is the formula for calculated columns in Excel?
Type the formula that you want to use, and press Enter. In this case we entered =sum (, then selected the Qtr 1 and Qtr 2 columns. As a result, Excel built the formula: =SUM (Table1 [Qtr 1]: [Qtr 2]]). This is called a structured reference formula, which is unique to Excel tables.
Can a calculated column be used in a rollup column?
A rollup column formula can’t reference complex calculated column. Only calculated column that reference simple columns in the same record can be used with rollups. A rollup column formula can’t include records in many-to-many (N:N) relationships. It can only include records in one-to-many (1:N) relationships.
In “The data type returned from this formula is” option by default, it is showing a single line of text. Click on “OK”.
