Is IoC possible without DI?
DIP and DI are not the same thing. IoC can be done without DI, but DI cannot be done without IoC.
What is different between IoC and DI?
Inversion of control is a design principle which helps to invert the control of object creation. Dependency Injection is a design pattern which implements IOC principle. DI provides objects that an object needs.
What is IoC DI?
Inversion of Control(IoC) is also known as Dependency injection (DI). Dependency injection is a pattern through which IoC is implemented and the act of connecting objects with other objects or injecting objects into objects is done by container rather than by the object themselves.
What is the benefit of DI?
DI allows a client to remove all knowledge of a concrete implementation that needs to use. It is more reusable, more testable, more readable code. DI makes it possible to eliminate, or at least reduce unnecessary dependencies. DI allows concurrent or independent development.
What are the disadvantages of using a DI framework?
An indirect disadvantage of DI frameworks is that they can make wiring the dependencies too easy. When you can’t anymore feel pain from having lots of dependencies, you may just keep on adding more dependencies instead of rethinking the design of the application to reduce the coupling between the classes.
Why do we need a dependency injection framework in Java?
Dependency Injection frameworks compensate for the lack of implicit parameters, Curried functions, and convenient facilities for monads in the language. Spring has three features that are equally important: library of framework classes to help with persistence, remoting, web mvc, etc.
Why do I need to use DI container?
Insisting that all developers need to use the container for things like HTTP client factory, in-memory cache, distributed cache, logging and so on, creates impediments for developers that would otherwise avoid using DI containers altogether.
Is there any way to consume httpclientfactory explicitly without using di?
Ideally, I would just new up a DefaultHttpClientFactory and consume that directly but since the factory itself is internal, this is not possible. Why is the HttpClientFactory internal and is there any way to consume it explicitly without using DI? The answer to this really depends what you expect to get out of using the client factory.
