Does multithreading run on multiple cores?
Programs that support multithreading can use more than one core if more than one is available. Most cores have two threads but when profiling my app I noticed lots of different threads ranging from thread 128 to thread 3460. The operating system assigns threads numbers so it can keep track of them.

The easiest way is to open the CPU display in task manager and then right click on the graph. Make sure the display is set to “Logical Processors”. Then run your program. See how many of the CPUs are busy.
Is 6 cores 6 threads good for streaming?
You’ll have to do your own inferencing, but it looks like at least 6 cores for streaming/recording gameplay is a good idea, and 8 wouldn’t hurt.
