What is stability testing?
Stability testing is utilized to determine if the quality of a drug substance or drug product is altered over time by various environmental factors, such as light, temperature, and humidity.
How do you know if powder is stable?
Repeating the BFE measurement cycle (condition and test) a number of times, typically around seven, detects instability. If BFE remains constant then the powder is stable. If, on the other hand, it either decreases or increases then testing or processing is changing the material.
How much does stability testing cost?
The test determines if the preservative system is effective. Cost: $500-$2,000 depending on the lab. The one-month challenge test is now considered standard in the cosmetic industry. Cost: $500-$900.

Can a representative be used for stability testing?
