Does Android use dbus?
As dbus is written in C, and Android supports (mostly) the Dalvik subset of Java its not surprising that dbus is not supported. You can write C code for Android but unless you are a phone company (i.e. able to install OS level updates) there is no practical way to distribute your software.
What is Dbus used for?
Dbus is an Inter-Process Communication protocol (IPC). It allows multiple processes to exchange information in a standardized way. This is typically used to separate the back end system control from the user-facing interface.
Can I disable dbus?
Disable dbus service You can override dbus services in ~/. local/share/dbus-1/services .
Is dbus necessary?
You need it only because applications use it. There ARE alternative communications methods. Domain sockets are used for dbus… so dbus itself isn’t required, just that the applications use it instead.
What is dbus user session?
D-Bus is a message bus, used for sending messages between applications. To retain dbus’ traditional session semantics, in which login sessions are artificially isolated from each other, remove this package and install dbus-x11 instead.
What is dbus X11?
simple interprocess messaging system (X11 deps) D-Bus is a message bus, used for sending messages between applications. Conceptually, it fits somewhere in between raw sockets and CORBA in terms of complexity. See the dbus description for more information about D-Bus in general.
What is Dbus package?
D-Bus is a message bus, used for sending messages between applications. This package contains the D-Bus daemon and related utilities. The client-side library can be found in the libdbus-1-3 package, as it is no longer contained in this package.

How do I monitor my Dbus?
How to monitor the system bus
- Reboot your machine to pick up the configuration changes. Simply reloading the DBus server configuration is not sufficient.

How to print the version of the dbus-daemon?

Why are files included in undefined order in dbus daemon?
Files in the directory are included in undefined order. Only files ending in “.conf” are included. This is intended to allow extension of the system bus by particular packages.
What does a message bus daemon do in Linux?
A message bus daemon has a configuration file that specializes it for a particular application. For example, one configuration file might set up the message bus to be a systemwide message bus, while another might set it up to be a per-user-login-session bus. The configuration file also establishes resource limits, security parameters, and so forth.
