Does it cost to redirect your mail?
The iammoving.com service lets you redirect your mail online for over 1500 organisations completely free. This service is useful for if you are moving home permanently, for periods of over a month, or if you want your mail going to another address.
Can someone else redirect my mail?
You can’t arrange a Redirection for people who don’t live at the same address as you, unless there are special circumstances.
How long can I redirect mail for?
You can redirect mail from a PO Box for a maximum of six months in its entirety and the box must be active for the duration of the service. The PO Box must remain open during the Redirection period. You can redirect to a PO Box for up to four years.
How long does a mail redirection take?
It takes up to five working days to set the service up. You can apply up to three months before you move, or six months after. You can apply for a maximum of eight people at one time. The cost of this service can vary depending on the length of redirection you choose.
How do you redirect an email that is not yours?
Using the Postal Service to Stop Mail. Write “Not at this address” on the exterior of the envelope. Then place the mail in an outgoing mailbox. This notifies the post office and the original sender that the recipient no longer lives at that address.
Can DWP letters be redirected?

Can I redirect my mail for more than 2 years?
Your Redirection can run for up to four years from the original start date. You won’t be able to renew beyond this length of time. You can redirect to a PO Box® for up to four years.
What do I need to create a new redirect?
Use the ‘add new redirection’ form to create a new redirect. In its most basic form you need to enter a source URL (the URL you are redirecting from) and a target URL (the URL you are redirecting to). The source URL is generally relative to your site.
Where do I find the redirection management page?
The redirect management page is where you’ll do most of the work in Redirection. It consists of a table with all your redirects and a section to add new ones.
What happens if you delete a redirect in redirection?
Deleting a redirect removes it from Redirection and it will no longer be active. A disabled redirect means the redirect still exists in Redirection, but it’s not active. Use this to temporarily disable the redirect without deleting it. Enabling a redirect re-activates a disabled redirect.
