Why is my VRAY light not showing?
You need to adjust the three of them or two if exposure is combined to your camera, to have correct lighting. You can place light, but if the intensity is too low then everything is will be dark. IF you light intensity are way high but your exposure is to low then everything will be dark and vice-versa.
What is VRAY lighting?
The VRayLight is a V-Ray specific light source object that can be used to create physically accurate area lights of different shapes. Shapes are selected through options when creating the light via 3ds Max’s Create panel (or Create menu), or, after the light is created, through the 3ds Max Modify panel.
Why are there no lights at final render?
Closed 3 years ago. When I try to render my scene, there are no Lights at Final Render. But if I use Shift+Z shortcut to see a preview, all works fine. I really don’t understand what is going on… Can you guys help this newbie? I installed Filmic Renderer that BlenderGuru recommended. Other than that, everyting are default, I think.
Where are the lights in Autodesk render no lights?
Check that your light source is not enclosed. This can happen in the project (e.g light inside the ceiling) or inside the lighting family. Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files. 01-12-2017 02:36 AM

Can a light render without an IES file?
Light will still render without an IES file. Assuming you have the light source set that way. In these files they are expecting an IES file as well, but you can easily change that to be generic.
