Can you move vertex, face or edge in Maya?
Cant move vertex, face or edge!! Hi, Im new to Maya and have a problem! I can manipulate object when I select it or select object mode but when I try to move edge or vertex I just dont get the x arrows for the move selection to manipulate them and the edge does not highlight when I hover over them.
Right Mouse Button click on the vertices and use g to grab them then Left Mouse Button to drop them. It’s sort of strange—rumor has it there is a reason for it being Right Mouse Button (I heard that it’s for ergonomics, to democratically distribute the clicks between the fingers).
Why are changes to my mesh not showing up?
Edited · Jul 31 2014, 5:06 PM So changes made to the mesh (which are not showing up) all become visible when new geometry is added, this gives the impression that it’s the Viewport which is not receiving updated info until new geometry is added.
