Can you print brick labels on a computer?

Where can I get a Lego brick label?
It is available from the Brother website at brother.com/product/dev/label/editor/index.htm (There is a download link at the bottom of the page.) Connect the printer to your computer. In most cases you will use the included USB cable, although the PT-P710BT (Cube Plus) also supports Bluetooth.
Why are Lego labels printed on plastic tape?
