Cite multiple authors in the text of your annotated bibliography by writing both authors last names in parentheses. Join the author names together using an ampersand. Add a comma after the second last name and close the parentheses.
How do you cite if there is two authors?
Citing an Author or Authors. A Work by Two Authors: Name both authors in the signal phrase or in parentheses each time you cite the work. Use the word “and” between the authors’ names within the text and use the ampersand in parentheses.

If a dictionary or encyclopedia entry has no author, the in-text citation should include the title of the entry. The title of the entry should be in quotation marks, with each word starting with a capital letter.
How many authors can you list in a citation?
You can list up to seven authors in the Reference list citation. Always invert every author name to position the surname first and any initials second. See examples above. If you have more than seven authors, list the first six authors followed by an ellipsis and ending with the last author listed.
How to organize books in a reference list?
1. Unknown, Uncertain or Anonymous Authors Note: Organize alphabetically and avoid using “Anonymous”. When a work is of unknown origin, use the first word of its title, excluding definite or indefinite articles which may be transposed to the end of the title.
