Why is my user profile not in REGEDIT?
User profile not in regedit. Cannot use User Profile Services service error solutions posted here. Running Win7 64-bit system with all updates on a Gateway DX-4850 machine. I HAVE ALREADY TRIED THE SOLUTIONS POSTED BY MICROSOFT TO EDIT MY REGISTRY SETTINGS AND SUCH.
Why is my management profile not installed on my iPad?

Where can I find the user profile folder?
1. ProfileList folder does exist. It points to a Profile DIrectory of %SystemDrive&\\Users 2.
Why is there an account unknown in my profile?
A possible cause of the “Account Unknown” profile is that the domain account that the profile is mapped to was deleted but the profile was not able to be deleted because some applications or services have open handle on the file. That’s also one of the reasons that the option to delete the account is grayed out.
Where do I find my new user profile?
Locate the C:\\Users\\ folder, where C is the drive that Windows is installed on, and New_Username is the name of the new user profile you created. Select the Edit menu and select Paste. Restart the PC, then log back in as the new user.
What are the attributes of a user profile?

Is there a default user name in regedit?
If I go into Control Panel and go to advanced settings and go into users from there, I have my account and an account named “default” (no “upsdat*” account listed there, but no Guest account and no account, which is not surprising, since I had deleted them).
