Why is Pop OS not booting from USB?
Having an issue getting POP!_OS to boot from a USB. I’m using an ASUS UX333-FA with the i5-8265u. I’ve disabled secure boot, set the USB drive as 1st priority and disabled the main drive but still no luck.

What should I do if etcher broke my USB?
Inserted the bootable ISO for elementaryos5.0stable drive. Rebooted into BIOS with my appropriate “F”key (each computer is different google your motherboard or laptop manufacturer for BIOS boot info if it isn’t on the flash screen), selected USB ISO as my primary boot option, saved & exited. Then restarted the computer.
How does etcher work on a flash drive?
Etcher just raw-writes whatever’s in your image file directly to your destination drive – in that regard it’s similar to the way dd operates. So if your image file contains an MBR your flash drive will have an MBR, but if your image file contains a GPT your flash drive will have a GPT.
