To Combine partitions in Disk Management:
- Press Windows and X on the keyboard and select Disk Management from the list.
- Right-click drive D and select Delete Volume, disk space of D will be converted to Unallocated.
- Right-click drive C and select Extend Volume.
- Click Next in the pop-up Extend Volume Wizard window.

You can’t merge two partitions. Fortunately, in this case, you only have one partition, and one unallocated area (that’s not a partition yet), so this is possible although a bit risky. Reboot from a “live CD”, because sda8 is your / partition and you cannot alter it while the system is using it.
