Where do I find the back button on my Mouse?
Move the mouse inside the xev window; you’ll see a lot of stuff scroll by. Press each button in turn. Then switch back to the terminal window and press Ctrl + C. xev shows a description of each input event, in particular ButtonPress and ButtonRelease for mouse clicks (you’ll also see a number of MotionNotify for mouse movements and other events).
Why does Vivaldi go backwards and forward on keyboard?
Please, correct me if I’m wrong – you have keyboard shortcuts assigned to your mouse’s backward/forward buttons and they still cause Vivaldi to go backwards & forward in history, despite their default actions being overwritten (supposedly) by this “other program”? investigation result: I don’t have 5 buttons, but only 3 + a fwd and a bwd button.
You can customise keyboard shortcuts. I currently have set keyboard shortcuts to open the bookmarks and the first webpanel for 4th and 5th mouse button and inputting the same shortcuts in the mouse software works flawlessly.
